So now we're turning the corner on this journey and headed to Aud and Fay's hometown of Chiang Mai, and our most anticipated stop for Dawn and I. It's more laid back with lots of Wat's(temples), greenery, great food, and slow pace; much more like our home in NC. So here we go off the airport(our second home).
I'm a little ashamed to admit that upon our arrival to Chiang Mai, and after a little over a week of exquisite and delicious Thai food, the Chester's were ready for a little taste of home. Our Thai fam was driving from Bangkok to Chiang Mai and wouldn't arrive till late that evening so we were on our own for the day. The first thing I heard was, "can we eat something American!"; so off to the Maya Shopping Center around the corner from our cute little condo at the Promt we went.
